people talking uot of turn
side conversations
talking while others are but there werent too many times that this happenedÃ
There are a few students in class that don't do much paying attention when being spoke to. That I feel is disrespect. I feel as though i have disrespected Mr. O'Leary. I have not shown up to class in time, or at all in the past two weeks. I really want to do well in this class. I think that it is really hard for me to do so because I have not been in school for a good 2 years.
There was nothing really...maybe a few side convos here or there but nothing big.
When people where talking while others where talking
While doing the line up for the small group discussions some students were talking amongst themselves a lot.
Identify instances of respect that occurred this week in class.
attentive listening
During the reading students were listening to each other very well.
Even if some of the ideas presented by others did not seem to make sense right away, the small groups worked to figure out what they meant by the comment in a respectful way.
Everyone got into groups with people without complaining. People listened to one another. Actually i think that were all started to bond more with our peers all through this.
Everyone listening to eachother in class
everyone seemed to listen to each other well during group discussions
everyone was polite when other people were talking and there wasn't alot of talking out of turn or disrespect to anyone
Just about every student in class speaks there opinion on whatever the class lesson is about.
kids understanding what other kids said and why they said it.
None that shine out above all, but more people talk less.

quite during discussions
we all discussed together
We all listened attenatively when others talked in the large group and in the small.
When people listen to each others ideas with an open mind and give their opinions.
When students stoped what they were doing to listen to Mr. O and other students.
What went well in class this week?
By reading about Socrates in 'The Apology' understood better what kind of person he was.
Everything went pretty well. I like how i can predict what we will do each day so nothings a surprise.
everything went smoothly, I learned new views of different topics from very wise point of views.
i am discovering more and more of the path to wisdom
I like doing the different ways to line up. It shows everyone what the other is interested in.˚

Class disscusions could have been more open to hearing others speak
discussion of the writings
Everything went pretty well.
I don't really knowt
I dont know.
I like reading different things and reflecting upon them, but i dont think we should do the same thing every day.
I think everything went well
I think that the small group discussions could have gone better.
I'm taking this survey a bit personally i think. Maybe because i haven't been in school a lot lately and i'm punishing my self for it mentally. i think that i could have been here everyday. That's what could have gone better.
It gets repetative doing the same things everyday
Monday we went over stuff that we already went over. I sat theres for over 1/2 done with everything and doing nothing...and thats hard to do on a Monday.
more people oddering to read
not much
not much, the monday and friday sub could get on the same page as mr. o., the class seems much more affective and productive when Mr.O is here.
nothing really could have gone better
there didnt seem to be too much variety in each class this week.
we could have watched a movie
Identity someone who inspired you this week, someone who achieved something above and beyond expectations.

adam

Adam had an idea that he wrote about. His writing was confusing at first but once he explained it i really agreed with what he said. He was basically saying the same thing that aristotle said in a longer way. 'We are the sum of our actions, not our intent'

Adam has cool martial arts skills

Adam impressed me, i feel that he has a naturally wise spirit that he has gained through his expieriences

Adam Kuhn has some of the best writings i've heard and always seems to have something intelligent to say along with something funny

Brandon Butler inspired me this week becaouse he spoke his mind and expressed himself. Mike Seigars also inspired me when he told our group about some things that have happened in his life.

Colin inspired me this week with his writings it seems like he really gets into the whole philosophy thing and understands what he is talking about

Colin Izotti again this week seemed to be ahead of his time. Reminding us all that we do not attain wisdom through the thoughts of others, but rather our own. Colin is a big cool smart guy.

I believe it wasn't just one person but more of a bunch a people because everyone seemed to have good views on the readings.

I think that no one really sticks out to me. i thought that this week went pretty well and that everyone did a pretty good job.

I was in a group with Joe. Even though that kid never brings a backpack or anything he knows what hes doing. He talked alot in our small group discussions. I never knew he could do that.

i wish i could give kudos. i don't have enough knowledge of everyone in class, because i have not been here.

Joe Naulty

kisa or colin because they always have good points on the topic at hand

megan contributed to our group discussion, and got us all wondering about death and why people fear it.

Megan Olson was very inspirational this week. i think she is shy, but when she shares her opinion in smaller groups, she always has something thoughtful to say.

mr oleary because eventhough he has to to the doctors twice a week he still makes an effort to be in class as much as possible.

Robert inspired me when we were having a discussion and we were talking about death and fear. He stated that death is what our whole life is based around and that if we did not fear death then there woud be less ambition to make the most of the time we have.
