The Question:

How can we discover self-evident universal truths?

The Challenge:

Emerson said that every natural fact was symbolic of a universal truth. In order to understand this concept, find a fact arising from your observation of nature and study it for its universal message. You may need to do another observation to get very specific observations. The more specific the observation, the more profound the truth. Start your paper with a detailed account of the natural observation, then expand on those details to trace the natural truth embodied in them.

Be sure to fully describe the observation, the truth you extract from it, and how it is "self-evident." I have a model if you desire it.

Minimum
Product Standards:

The universal truth is well described.
The nature observations are detailed.
The universal truth is self-evident.
The paper exhibits logic and clarity.
The truth is serious and appropriate.

Reflective Question:

Write a paragraph at the end of your paper in which you address the following prompt:

How has this assignment allowed me to discover personal and universal truths in my everyday life?
