The Question:

How does literature and film reflect universal philosophical movements?

 

The Challenge:

We have learned about Classicism and Romanticism in literature. Now is the time to apply that knowledge and use it as a paradigm through which one can analyze literature and film.

 

After viewing James Fennimore CooperÕs The Last of the Mohicans, write a literary analysis of it using Romanticism and Classicism as your basis for comparison. Using the model of the five-paragraph theme, reference specific lines, plot twists, characters and situations in the film to document our points.

 

Remember to review the elements of effective writing that was presented in the last writing assignment to add value to your writing.
